Russian forces have completed their withdrawal from northern Ukraine into Belarus and Russia, according to the British Ministry of Defence. ayokinews.com reports
In a statement published by the British Ministry of Defense on Twitter, it was revealed that the withdrawn Russian troops, are most likely to be redeployed to battle in Donbas’ eastern region.
According to the British assessment of the ground situation, many of the Russian military units require reinforcement, with “any mass redeployment from the north likely to take at least a week minimum.’’

However, Russia continues it artillery shelling of cities in Ukraine’s east and south, the statement confirmed.
“Russian forces have advanced further south from the strategically important city of Izium which remains under their control,’’ the statement read.
