Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari Departs For London On 20-Day Medical Trip

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, has left the country for another three-week medical trip to London, United Kingdom. ayokinews.com reports

This was made known in a statement issued by Mr. Femi Adesina, Special Adviser on Media, Publicity and spokesman to the presidency. He noted that President Buhari will return to the country after his vacation to commission some already completed projects.

“President Muhammadu Buhari will depart Abuja Saturday today for a 20 day vacation trip. He is expected to return to Nigeria on May 10th, 2022.

Buhari Has Done More Than US Govt In Terms Of Infrastructure – Fashola

“At the end of the visit, President Buhari will be proceeding to his country home Daura where he will Commission developmental projects especially in the sector of education, healthcare and roads,” Buhari’s spokesperson, Femi Adesina, said.

This is the second medical trip being undertaken by President Muhammadu Buhari this year.

Recall that since taking office in 2015, Buhari has been consulting physicians for unexplained medical reasons.
