The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has announced Wednesday, September 6, as the scheduled date for delivering judgement on three petitions challenging the declaration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the 2023 presidential election.
This was made public in a statement released via the Court of Appeal’s official Twitter (X) handle on Monday.
In the statement released, the Court made it known that the judgement process would be aired live on television so as to bring about transparency in the judicial proceeding.
The Court will be delivering judgements on the suit filed by the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic, Party PDP, Abubakar Atiku and his counterpart in the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi as well as that of Allied Peoples Movement, APC.
