Controversial Nigerian Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has revealed that 90% of Nigerian actors who parade themselves as legitimate businessmen while flaunting their wealth online are yahoo boys. ayokinews.com reports

Uche Maduagwu had constantly been in the news for various reasons most especially his recent comment about his colleague, Jim Iyke, which later led to a brawl between the two actors.

Uche is also known to have taunted celebrity businessman, Obi Cubana along with Jim Iyke, saying they only make noise on social media about their wealth unlike him who makes real and legit money.

Speaking on his official Instagram page, Uche Maduagwu, noted that 90% of the Nigerian Nollywood actors are internet fraudsters (Yahoo Boys) who are only using the movie industry as a cover for their heinous crimes.

He further called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate the Nigerian Nollywood industry thoroughly in a bid to unravel the alleged criminals parading the industry.

Uche Maduagwu wrote; “90% of popular Male actors wey dey always display wealth on social media are into Yahoo Yahoo or Oba plus, not all that glitters for nollywoood is gold. EFCC needs to focus on our industry just like Buhari dey focus on collecting foreign loans like cold kunu.”
