A Nigerian Military General identified as Hassan Ahmed, has reportedly been shot dead by unknown assailants in Abuja on Thursday 15th July, 2021. ayokinews.com reports
Major General Hassan Ahmed was the former Provost Marshall and Director at the Nigerian Army headquarters, Abuja.
Hassan was said to be on his way to Okene, Kogi state, when he and his sister were disembarked from the vehicle after which the assailants shot him dead.
Hassan was said to have embarked on the trip without his security details, a situation which made him vulnerable to the attack which claimed his life.
As at the time of filing this report, the Nigerian army is yet to release a statement on the death of one of its gallant Generals.
