Nigerian Nollywood actor, Femi Adebayo, has announced the arrest of a yet-to-be-identified man for pirating his newly released movie, titled ‘Jagun Jagun’.
Femi, who took to his official Instagram page to share a picture of the arrested culprit, said that other individuals involved in the piracy have also been arrested.
He wrote, “URGENT: Anti-Piracy Warning. Piracy is a criminal act that threatens the very essence of our creative industry. Persons have already begun pirating this labour of love.
“Some have been apprehended like in the photo, and we are relentlessly pursuing others and bringing them to book.
“Our search includes persons downloading the movie from unauthorized sites, including telegram groups.”
Femi Adebayo had during an interview revealed how he sold some of his priced properties to fund Jagun Jagun which he described as a multi-million naira.
