Popular Nigerian TV host, Frank Edoho, has said that Cristiano Ronaldo, signing for Saudi side, Al-Nassr, is finished at his prime.
Frank, a Television host for “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” stated this via his Twitter account.
The Saudi Arabian club had on Friday, announced the official signing of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo will play for Al-Nassr in his usual No. 7 jersey.
The Portuguese captain, who will turn 38 in February, agreed to a contract that will see him earn a whopping $175 million annually until 2025.
Reacting to the development, Edoho, in a tweet via his Twitter handle, wrote: “Ronaldo is finished at 38. Tell me how many footballers are signed by a club for an astonishing €200 per season making him the highest paid footballer, at the ‘finished’ age of 38?
“Most people prefer hatred to common sense!”
