A Nigerian High Court seated in Oyo state, has has granted an exparte restricting the Department of State Service (DSS) and Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) from intimidating, arresting, harassing, and blocking the bank accounts of popular Yoruba Nation activist/agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo also known as ‘Sunday Igboho’. ayokinews.com reports
The Judgment was given by Justice Ladiean Akintola, of the Oyo High Court following an exparte motion filed by the defense counsel to Sunday Igboho.
The motion was also drawn out of a developing motion filed which demands for the compensation fund of N500 billion naira from the Nigerian government for the damages done to the properties of the Yoruba Nation activist during the course of the DSS invasion of his Ibadan residence.
Speaking on the judgment was the defense lawyer/counsel to the activist, Chief Yomi Aliu (SAN), who expressed his delight over the court unbiased judgment while also expressing his confidence in the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, compliance to the court order.
