BREAKING: Osun Decides: PDP’s Adeleke unseats APC’s Gov. Oyetola

The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has been declared winner of the Osun State governorship election.

Adeleke was declared the election’s winner after scoring 403,371 votes.

“Tinubu A Dogged Fighter, I’ve No Doubt He’ll Deliver Good Governance” – Gbajabiamila

The result was released on Sunday morning by Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

He received the most votes, beating out Governor Gboyega Oyetola (375,027) and Action Democratic Party (ADP) Kehinde Atanda, who came in second and third, respectively.

Governor Oyetola of the APC won 13 local governments, while Adeleke (PDP) won 17 local governments.

In 2018, the former lawmaker ran against the current governor and lost to him in the runoff.
