Nigerian Actor and skit comedian, Debo Adebayo popularly known as Mr. Macaroni, has advised Lagosians to be wary of those fanning the embers of tribalism.
Mr Macaroni who spoke via his twitter handle, expressed sadness over the rate at which people were sharing tribal inciting posts on social media.
He warned that people should not allow themselves to be used as tools in the hands of those pursuing personal interests.
“It’s sad to see people sharing inciting contents against tribes. We have been living together in unity. Doing business together and marrying ourselves.
“Do not let people, because of their own interests, cause hate among us.
“Let’s say No To Tribal Warfare!
“Let us Preach Peace,” he tweeted.
