Armed bandits contact NDA, demands N200million ransom for abducted Major

Armed bandits who invaded the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA) in the early hours on Tuesday 24th August, 2021, have reportedly contacted the Nigerian military demanding the sum of N200 million naira for the release of abducted Major. Stephen Dantong. ayokinews.com reports

The armed bandits had earlier on Tuesday, stormed the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA) on motorbikes, an attack which saw to the death of two (2) senior officers and the abduction of one (1) officer from the barracks.

The attack which came as a shock to many Nigerians was said to have lasted for more than one (1) hour without any interruption from the military.

According to information gotten from a source, the Nigerian military searched all the bushes but no traces of the armed bandits were found.

“They searched everywhere in the bush but couldn’t find them. They had fled away with their motorbikes.”

The source also made it known that the armed bandits have contacted the Nigeria military for a ransom of N200 million naira to secure the release of abducted Major. Stephen Dantong.

“They have called to ask for N200million to free the Major,” the source said.
