The 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has said that the campaign team of president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, admitted to rigging February 25th election.
According to him, he said that he was seeking the result cancelation of the February 25th election because Tinubu’s campaign team admitted to rigging the election.
Atiku said that the claim of massive rigging in the Southeast by Tinubu’s campaign team was enough evidence for a cancelation.
He made this known in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Phrank Shaibu.
He bemoaned the continuous mockery of Nigerians by Tinubu’s team after fraudulently stealing the peoples mandate.
Atiku further highlighted that Tinubu’s loss in Lagos, was a clear evidence that Nigerians don’t want him and never voted for him.
The statement reads: “Festus Keyamo’s claim that there was massive rigging in the southeast and that the APC will be challenging the votes in that region validates our position that this election was fraught with irregularities.
“Is it not funny that Tinubu claimed he wanted to replicate the developments of Lagos across Nigeria, and yet the same people of Lagos rejected him at the poll?
“He and his minions unleashed thugs on the people of the state and yet still lost.”
