Kingsley Moghalu, the former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), officially entered the 2023 presidential campaign on Tuesday in Abuja after paying N25 million for the African Democratic Congress’ (ADC) presidential nomination and declaration of interest forms. ayokinews.com reports
Speaking with journalists at the ADC national secretariat in Abuja, Moghalu stated that for Nigeria to prosper and assume its proper place in the comity of nations, the country’s politics must be detribalized.

According to him, capable leaders can be found in all tribes and religions, and that it is the right time for technocrats, academics, and experienced individuals to take power away from Nigeria’s career politicians.
Moghalu pledged to address insecurity, inflation, and the country’s failing educational system, among other issues.
