In light of the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that his country appreciates the new defense assistance it received from the United States (US) President Joe Biden.
According to Zelensky, Biden’s updated defense support is helping Ukraine defeat Russia.
Zelensky revealed this on Monday night, in a post shared via his Twitter account.
He tweeted: “Thank you @POTUS for your leadership, robust support of Ukraine and understanding that Russia is a threat to the entire civilized world.”

“Together we are defending values of freedom common to both Ukraine & US. New defense assistance package is bringing us closer to victory.”
Russia and Ukraine have been engaged in a bloody conflict for more than five months now.
Several war-related fatalities have already been recorded as of this writing.
