Russian overnight missile strikes in the Dnipropetrovsk area of Ukraine, close to the Zaporizhzhya nuclear facility, claimed at least 11 lives, according to the local military.
“A horrible night in the Nikopol region the Russian army murdered 11 people and injured 13,” the chief of the military administration in Dnipropetrovsk, Valentyn Reznichenko, confirmed the incident via Telegram on Wednesday.
Both of the affected regions are located on the opposite side of the Dnipro River from the recently shelled Zaporizhzhya nuclear power station.

There have been conflicts between Russia and Ukraine for more than five months.
Several casualties have already been reported as of today.
The invasion of Ukraine was launched by Russian President Vladimir Putin, due to political disputes between the two nations.
