Popular veteran Nigeria Juju singer, Chief Ebenezer Obey, has lost one of his sons, Olayinka Olalekan Obey-Fabiyi, to the cold hands of death.

According to information obtained, Olayinka, 48, passed away on Friday, August 29, and was buried on Saturday.

However, the cause of Olayinka’s demise hasn’t been determined yet.

Sadly, this is not the first time the juju maestro has been put into a grieving period. On August 23, 2011, the 80-year-old singer lost his 67-year-old wife, Lady Juliana Obey-Fabiyi.

The marriage which lasted for 48-years produced four children — 3 sons and 1 daughter.

Ebenezer Obey, fondly called the Chief Commander, began his career in the mid-1950s and has since been one of the pillars of Nigerian music.
