The Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has on Sunday, claimed that the front lines of resistance in regions where intense combat has occurred are strewn with Russian soldiers’ bodies. ayokinews.com reports
Zelenskyy claimed this while stressing that the Russian military has suffered “unprecedented losses,” with certain Russian units being “80 to 90% destroyed.”
“Ukrainians have proven they can fight more professionally than an army that has been waging wars for decades in various regions and conditions,” Zelenskyy said in a video message on Sunday.
“We respond with wisdom and courage to the great number of their equipment and soldiers sent to Ukraine.”
The President, speaking in Ukraine, stated that the front lines of battle are “littered with bodies of Russian soldiers” in locations where severe fighting had taken place.
“And these corpses, these dead bodies, are not being picked up by anyone. New units are being sent to advance right over them,” he said.
According to Zelenskyy, eight evacuation corridors were operational on Saturday, but officials were unable to rescue people from Borodyanka in the Kyiv region due to Russian bombardment.
Also, humanitarian supplies could not be delivered to cities in the southern Kherson region, either.
