The spokesman of the Nigerian presidency, Ajuri Ngelale, has said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would not hesitate to sack any underperforming minister.
Ngelale, made this known during an interview with Channels Television on Monday.
He disclosed that the president had ordered his cabinet members to set the targets in line with the country’s developmental needs.
Ngelale stated that President Bola Tinubu had vowed to ensure that every appointed minister perform exceptionally well.
“He’s ready to fire a minister at the drop of a dime if he’s not getting what he wants. Absolutely,” he stated.
