Presidential candidate and APC National Leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has denied claims that he left Nigeria for medical reasons. ayokinews.com reports
After a 10-day visit to the United Kingdom, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), returned to Nigeria on Sunday.
Using his social media channels, he made a brief remark saying, the trip was about the forthcoming 2023 General election.
A statement released, stated that the presidential aspirant was in London to have “consultations with Nigerians and other stakeholders in the diaspora”.
“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu promised to continue consultations in line with his intention to seek the office of The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” it said.

Tinubu’s international visits, which have been more regular in recent years, have alarmed a cross-section of Nigerians.
Last year, the politician spent nearly three months in London due to health issues. President Muhammadu Buhari and others paid him a visit.
According to Tinubu’s media office, he had surgery on his right knee and “rigorous post-surgical treatment.”
