The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, praised Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid on Friday, for bringing Nigerian music to a worldwide audience.
He praised them in a TV video made to recognize International Youth Day in 2022.
The Grammy Award winners Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido, as well as Tems, Tiwa Savage, and a host of other incredible musicians, according to Tinubu, are proof that the Nigerian young control the globe.
“Our music is moving people and making them dance in major venues across the world.

“Every day they keep breaking new boundaries and records in almost every human endeavour. The creativity that lives in the heart of the average Nigerian youth shines bright like the sun,” he said.
International Youth Day is observed annually on August 12. According to information from the United Nations (UN), a major goal of this yearly festival is to raise awareness about any injustice or prejudice affecting young people across the world.
