Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a presidential aspirant under the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), on Saturday, paid a courtesy visit to the paramount ruler of Egba land, Alake Aremu Gbadebo. ayokinews.com reports
His visit to the Alake’s palace is part of his consultations ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
Tinubu has made known his ambition to become Nigeria’s next President as he plans contesting in 2023.
Tinubu was accompanied to Egba land by senior members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), political acquaintances, and friends.
Shortly after the visit, the former Lagos State Governor and National leader of the APC, spoke to newsmen and told Nigerians that brighter days are approaching.

“My message to Nigerians is that there will always be difficult times, there will be times for joy,” Tinubu said.
“We are navigating Nigeria through a very difficult and windy period. We will survive it, we will be happy.”
“We will hold on to the hope that Nigeria will be reunited, prosperous and be sufficient in benefits for the people. We will make Nigerians happy.”
