On Monday, Professor Banji Akintoye, a Yoruba elder statesman and leader of Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide’s Umbrella Body of Yoruba Self-determination Groups, and Professor Wale Adeniran, a French Language Expert/Deputy Alana of Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, were handed the activist.

In a statement, Mr. Maxwell Adeleye, Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide’s Communications Secretary, lauded the release of Ighoho, calling it a ‘Triumph of Truth over Darkness in Yoruba Land’.
