Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, a former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, has been successfully sworn in as the new executive Governor of Anambra state. ayokinews.com reports
Soludo’s swearing in officially took place at the Anambra state Government house on Thursday, March 17.
In 2021, Soludo, a candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), won the Anambra Gubernatorial election with a record high 112,229 votes, thrashing out Senator Andy Uba, his All Progressive Congress (APC) opponent.
At the low-key swearing in ceremony, Chukwuma Soludo and his deputy, Onyeka Ibezim, took the oath of office.

Willie Obiano’s eight-year term in office ended on Thursday, as the former CBN Governor takes over the state’s mantle of leadership.
Obiano had formally handed over official paperwork to Soludo on Wednesday evening and also showed him through the government house offices.
Among those present at the searing-in ceremony are, Solo Chukwudebelu, the outgoing Secretary to the State Government (SSG), and several of Soludo’s aides.
