The Southern Governors Forum (SGF), has on Monday 5th July, 2021, held a meeting in Lagos, over some critical issues affecting the region and also the recent destructive operations of the Nigerian security agencies in their various states. ayokinews.com reports
Speaking on the recent security operations in the region, the governors insisted and clearly stated that any law enforcement agency with intention of carrying out operations in any of the Southern States must first of all take permission from the Governor of the respective state.
The Governors also arrived at a conclusion that the next Presidential candidate of the country ahead of the 2023 election, must come from the South.
