Rotimi Amaechi, Nigeria’s Minister of Transportation, has formally declared his bid to run for President in 2023. ayokinews.com reports
Amaechi made the declaration while speaking at a thanksgiving ceremony organized by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Rivers State branch on Saturday.
The event was held in Igwuruta, near Port Harcourt, at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.

He disclosed that he would be contesting for the presidency to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023 as Nigeria’s number one man.
“I stand before you today to declare my intention and submit my application to serve as your next president,” he said.
