Ayokinews.com has learned of how the Nigerian Inspector General of Police Usman Baba Alkali, reportedly rejected the first probe report of the Special Investigation Panel (SIP) on the alleged FBI fraud indictment of Nigerian Super cop, DCP Abba Kyari. ayokinews.com reports
According to a report gotten from PUNCH, IGP Usman Baba, rejected the probe report which was submitted earlier to him by the Special Investigation Panel (SIP).
The FBI had earlier indicted the Nigerian Super cop over a $1.1 million dollars fraud involving popular internet sensation, Igbalode Ramoni Abbas also known as ‘Ray Hushpuppi’ along with four (4) other conspirators namely, AbdulRahman Juma; Vincent Kelly Chibuzor (Kelly); Rukayat Motunrayo Fashola; and Bolatito Agbabiaka.
DCP Abba Kyari appeared severally before the four-man instituted investigative probe panel and has vehemently defended himself saying he had no shady dealing with Hushpuppi and his gang.
The first investigative panel report was submitted last week but got rejected by the Nigerian Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Baba, on the grounds of being too lenient with the super cop, Abba Kyari.
However, another probe report was submitted on Monday 17th August, 2021, to the Nigerian IGP, Usman Baba, after an earlier dissatisfaction with the first report.
