President Muhammadu Buhari has been urged by a Kaduna-based activist, Prof. Suleiman Dansoko, not to be eager to leave office until he cleans up the catastrophe he caused for Nigerians.
Recall that last week, during the Salah celebrations, President Buhari had told party members who came to visit him at his Daura residence that he is eager to leave office as governance is too tough.
In response, Dansoko, a former department head at Bayero University in Kano, who is now a social activist and political commentator, said that while President Buhari may be feeling the pressure, Nigerians are only surviving by God’s grace.
He advised Buhari to make all the necessary corrections in the same manner that he met it in 2015, before leaving Aso Rock villa in 2023.

He asserts that no father would ever tell his children that he cannot meet their requirements or that he will leave the house due to hardships.
“Please, Mr. President, we all welcome all your team; bandits attack, killing, hunger, inflation, sickness, unemployment, sacking from Government jobs. But, before you go, do your possible best, to settle them, let them leave before you go. Don’t leave any of your team members behind,” he said.
He stated that even though everyone had complained about the previous administration before Buhari, it had been better since crime rates were not as high as being recorded now.
