The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has termed the resignation call of the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as being ‘delusional’. ayokinews.com reports
The PDP had earlier call for the immediate resignation of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele, over the rapid and continuous fall/ depreciation of the naira.
Reacting to the PDP’s resignation call on Friday, the national secretary of the APC caretaker committee, John Akpanudoedehe, in a statement, noted that the various allegations about the CBN Governor not managing the Nigerian economy well were false.
Akpanudoedehe further described the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as a failed political party which no longer has an electric value in Nigeria.
‘Power Can’t Remain In The North Forever’ – Hon. Shina Peller
The statement reads; “Our attention has been drawn to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) delusional call for the resignation of Mr. Godwin Emefiele, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) over phantom allegations.

“As a failed opposition party, PDP’s current delusions are apparently a result of its leadership crisis, lost electoral value and general failure in the eyes of Nigerians.
“Nigerians are still waiting for PDP’s honest apology to Nigerians for its mindless pillage of our national resources, abuse of public institutions and the diversion of procured loans to fund its political activities and line the pockets of its cronies and family members.”
