Russian President Vladimir Putin, is now appealing for foreign fighters to join his army in the struggle against Ukraine. ayokinews.com reports
Putin stated that foreign volunteers wanting to fight for Ukraine are welcome, while speaking during a meeting of the Russian Security Council in Moscow on Thursday.
The President made this known shortly after Russia’s Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu, declared 16,000 volunteers in the Middle East were ready to join forces with Russia to fight Ukraine.

“If you see that there are these people who want of their own accord, not for money, to come to help the people living in Donbas, then we need to give them what they want and help them get to the conflict zone,” Putin said.
Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine on February 24, as a result of the country’s decision to join NATO.
Despite repeated appeals from the international community, Russia has continued its onslaught against Ukraine.
