National leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and former Governor of Lagos state, Aiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu has reacted to Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to his London home saying the visit proves to his critics that all is well between the both of them. ayokinews.com reports
Tinubu in a statement released on Friday through his media office, noted that the visit of President Buhari to his London residence was a friendly and welcomed one.
“Mr. President has, again, demonstrated his personal thoughtfulness and humility; defying the erroneous commentaries peddled by his critics,” his media office stated.
The APC national political leader had earlier been in the United Kingdom to undergo a knee surgery as he could be seen with President Buhari, holding a walking stick to aid his stance.
According to a source who spoke to Sahara Reporters on the political leader’s health, it was noted that Tinubu couldn’t hide the fact that his leg hurts as he could be seen with a walking stick.
“You see he couldn’t hide that he had difficulty walking after undergoing his second surgery. He went to UK on crutches but took a walking stick to see Buhari,” the revealed.
