Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has on Saturday 14th August, 2021, approved the appointment of Justice Husseini Baba-Yusuf, as the news acting Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court. ayokinews.com reports
Justice Husseini’s appointment by the president was followed after the recommendation of the National Judicial Council (NJC).
This was made known in a press statement issued on Saturday by the Nigerian Director of Information, Soji Oye in Abuja.
“The acting appointment takes effect from 1, August 2021.
“Hon Justice Husseini Baba-Yusuf will be sworn-in by the Chief Justice of Nigeria and Chairman of the National Judicial Council, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, CFR, on Monday, August 16, 2021 by 10am at the Supreme Court of Nigeria,” he stated.
