The political leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) namely, former military president, General Ibrahim Babangida, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, and Former Senate President Olubukola Saraki and other high ranking party members met in a closed door meeting on Tuesday, in Minna, Niger state. ayokinews.com reports
Also present during the meeting were PDP national chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, Akwa Ibom state governor Emmanuel Udom, former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi and Senator Ben Obi.
The closed door meeting was said to have been led by former president Olusegun Obasanjo shortly after his arrival for the 80th birthday celebration of former Nigerian Head of State, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida in Minna, Niger state.

A source who spoke to Legit.ng said, “It was not ordinary that they barred you guys (journalists) from entering the house. They know what they want to do, you media men are a distraction for them to freely discuss.
“As you can see, it was not only the media; even some close associates of IBB in Minna were not allowed inside. The birthday just afforded the big men an opportunity to talk.”
