Anita Tonye Okoye, the estranged spouse of Nigerian musician Paul Okoye, one-half of the disbanded Psquare, has updated her divorce application, accusing her husband of ignoring their children indefinitely.
According to reports on social media, Anita claimed that Florence, their housekeeper, was having an affair with her husband, Peter Okoye.
Many Nigerians have responded to photos of the court documents which have now gone viral on social media.
Anita had first sought a divorce in 2021.
The official divorce petition, which listed adultery and irreconcilable differences as the reasons for the marriage’s irretrievable breakup, was leaked, revealing details of the marriage’s demise.

The pair wedded in 2014 after dating for ten years, a marriage which produced three kids together.
Photos of court records and leaked conversations that purportedly showed the musician speaking with a number of women recently went viral on social media.
According to leaked court documents, Paul allegedly expelled his wife and her sister when his liaison with the housekeeper was revealed. Paul allegedly boasted about it and stated that he was doing it to cut his wife’s wings as he sent them out.
Additionally, it was said that, among other things, the singer didn’t seem very interested in raising their children to be disciplined.
Leaked WhatsApp conversation revealed that the singer allegedly made arrangements to meet with various women at different hotels.
