The Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, has said that he has fulfilled all his campaign promises within the past three (3) years of his administration. ayokinews.com reports
Speaking during a live broadcast to mark the third 3rd-year anniversary of his administration, Governor Oyetola said: “We’ve maintained fidelity with our electoral promises”.
Oyetola stated that his administration was going to work towards exploiting and developing critical sectors in the state, such as mining, agriculture and tourism, so as to reduce the state’s overdependence on federal allocation.
He also promised to turn Osun state to an economic hub in the South-Western region of the country.

Speaking on his achievements so far, Oyetola stated that his administration had revitalized about 300 Primary Healthcare Centres (PHC) and also renovated some general hospitals in the state.
The governor stated that other healthcare centers would soon be completed so as to cater for the medical needs of people at the grassroots.
He noted that the Osun Health Insurance Scheme was already providing free healthcare services to vulnerable citizens and also delivering affordable healthcare service to workers in the state.
