Multiple-award winning singer, Davido, has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to issue his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Osun State governor-elect, his certificate of return.
Davido, via his official Twitter handle, called out INEC for failing to issue Adeleke his certificate of return within 24-hours, after being declared winner of the Osun governorship election. He also asked jokingly if INEC needed fuel to issue the certificate.
Davido tweeted: “48hrs after our @AAdeleke_01 victory at the Osun Gubernatorial elections, we are yet to receive our certificate. @inecnigeria should we send you fuel money? LOL Please no one should tamper with the will of the Osun People! Issue the certificate as required by Law!”

Ademola Adeleke was on Sunday July 17, announced winner of the Osun State governorship election after defeating the incumbent Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Saturday July 16.
