The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has issued Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Osun State governor-elect, his certificate of return.
Adeleke, on Wednesday July 20, received the certificate of return at the INEC office in Osogbo, the State’s capital.
On Sunday, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Sen. Ademola Adeleke, was declared winner of the Saturday governorship election in Osun State.

He pulled in 403,371 votes, making him the winner of the governorship race.
Adeleke received the most votes, beating out incumbent Governor Gboyega Oyetola (375,027), who was his main rival, and Action Democratic Party (ADP) candidate, Kehinde Atanda, who came in second.
