Chip Whip to the Nigerian Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has called the leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC), to reschedule the party’s national convention stated for February next year. ayokinews.com reports
Orji Kalu, who also happens to be a former governor of Abia state, made this known in a letter addressed to the APC National Chairman Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni, and other planning members.
In the letter, Kalu appealed to the All Progressive Congress (APC) to consider conducting the presidential primaries and election of the party National Working Committee (NWC) on the same day.
Also contained in the acknowledged letter, was a warning from Kalu, stating that the Party should not proceed with the convention in February without settling the minor disagreements that arose during the congresses.
