Rochas Okorocha, a former governor and senator representing Imo West Senatorial District, has spoken for the first time since the conclusion of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election on Tuesday. ayokinews.com reports
Speculations were high as many feared that Okorocha might leave the party after failing to get the APC presidential ticket.
However, in a statement made available to the media on Friday, by his Special Assistant (Media), Sam Onwuemeodo, the former governor expressed his support for Tinubu as he runs for President in 2023.
“I commend all those who participated in the APC party primary for its presidential ticket,” Okorocha said.
“I also congratulate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on his victory at the Presidential Primary election of the All Progressives Congress, APC.”
Despite being on the EFCC case list for fraud, Rochas Okorocha still participated in the APC presidential primary election.
