Mr. Khalil Suleiman, the newly appointed Executive Vice Chairman of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), has pledged to utilize science, technology and innovation to add value to the Nigerian economy.
He made this known upon his resumption of office on Monday in a statement signed and released by NASENI’s Director of Information and Protocol, Olusegun Ayeoyenikan.
Khalil stated that NASENI would harness cutting-edge technologies to achieve the eight-point economic agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
“The focus is for innovation, science and technology resources to serve Nigerians and to add value to the national economy.
“We shall adopt, adapt and domesticate cutting-edge technologies wherever we find them. We will build a pool of well-educated and talented personnel, support world-class research and development (R&Ds), and build partnerships and collaborations across Nigeria, Africa and the world,” he said.
