A Customary Court judge, Ishola Razaki Adeyemi, has been sacked by the Lagos State Government.
Adeyemi is being accused of dissolving a complainant’s marriage in 2015, and further marrying his wife.
The complainant, Olayemi Ayeni, accused Adeyemi in a widely shared video, of dissolving his relationship, denying him access to the kids, and getting his wife pregnant.
According to the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA), the Judicial Service Commission conducted an investigation into the issue.
An update on the issue was provided in a statement issued by the DSVA executive secretary, Titilola Vivour Adeniyi.

The investigation’s findings, according to Adeniyi, “subsequently led to the termination of the appointment of the Member of the Customary Court”.
She added that attempts were made by the agency to contact the social media accounts which posted Adeyemo’s video, but the accounts appeared inactive.
“Unfortunately, their accounts have not been active since 2018. All efforts to reach out to the complainant have been to no avail,” he said.
The DSVA asked that anybody with relevant info on him contact them at 0813-796-0048, @dsvrt on Twitter, or @dsva on Instagram.
