The All Progressives Congress’s (APC) Lagos State Governorship Primary Election Committee, has barred Abdul-Ahmed Mustapha, a gubernatorial aspirant contesting alongside Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the state governor, from coming to the primary election’s venue at Mobolaji Johnson Arena. ayokinews.com reports
Mustapha, a former Permanent Secretary in Lagos’ Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, resigned 14 months ago and had signified his interest by picking the party’s N50 million gubernatorial form.

According to reports, Mustapha was not vetted by the party’s screening committee, led by Shettima Yuguda, a former deputy governor of Borno State.
Mustapha was not allowed to enter the APC screening venue.
