The Kwara State police command has issued stern warning to anyone, or group of persons intending to disrupt the peaceful conduct of the Saturday, March 11th gubernatorial elections, to be prepared to face the full wrath of the law.
This was made known by the State Commissioner of Police, Paul Odama, in Ilorin on Wednesday, while meeting with area commanders, divisional police officers and heads of tactical units in the state.
Odama stated that the security meeting was deemed necessary as a proactive measure in safeguarding the State all through the electoral conduct.
The Police Commissioner further enjoined all state residents to cooperate with security agencies so as to enable a peaceful conduct of elections.
