Former Gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, for Lagos state, Jimi Agbaje, has described the former Governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, as his ideal kind of Governor. ayokinews.com reports
Peter Obi, was the Executive Governor of Anambra state between 2007 and 2014, under the political umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Obi was also the contending Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria alongside Atiku Abubakar during the 2019 presidential election which saw President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC as the winner.

Speaking during an interview with popular media entrepreneur, Chude Jideonwo, Agbaje stated that he really loved Peter Obi’s style and pattern of governance and that he would love to be like him once he becomes a Governor.
“He had always been my best governor even when I didn’t know him,” he said.
“I’ve always said that this was my best governor. He’s been the kind of governor I would want to be. He tried to be himself. He was there for service, not self.”
