Sensational Nigerian singer, Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has claimed that American rapper, J.Cole, commended her songwriting skills.
Simi exclaimed that the Grammy award winning rapper’s praise was a sign that she had made it in her career.
The singer made this known in a post shared via her official Twitter (X) account on Friday.
She wrote, “JCole said my pen is lit. So yea. I made it mommy.”
Following her post, a curious fan questioned, asking if she would have appreciated it, if the comment were to be from a Nigerian rapper.
The fan wrote: “If rugged man or mode9 or vector said this same thing to you…would you tweet it?”
Simi simply replied: “Probably not.”
