Tunde Bakare, the senior pastor of Citadel Global Community Church, has expressed hope of getting the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket. ayokinews.com reports
Last Monday, Bakare purchased the ruling party’s N100 million expression of interest and nomination form, joining 20 other aspirants who had previously done so.
Bakare, who was in Abuja on Wednesday, to submit his nomination form, revealed that he had already made plans on succeeding President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

Speaking at the APC secretariat, Tunde Bakare said: “My chances are as bright as that of any other person. I am eminently qualified either by age or experience or everything that counts in this race. And I trust God that I will emerge the winner.
“Anyone who participates in a race must run according to the rules. We have fulfilled our own side; it is now for the party to set the stage and to tell us what is next.
“What I know for now is that by the grace of God, we have decided to run according to the rules and we expect to win.”
