Following a guilty plea, one of the men accused of selling fentanyl-laced pills to late rapper, Mac Miller, has been sentenced to jail. ayokinews.com reports
Stephen Walter pled guilty to supplying narcotics that led to Miller’s death in 2018.
He received a 17-year sentence. He, however, expressed regret for his role in the death of the 26-year-old rapper.
Cameron James Pettit, another drug dealer who had earlier pleaded not guilty, was accused of supplying the rapper with fentanyl-laced oxycodone tablets.

It was leanrt that that two days before his death on September 7, 2018, Mac received two drug deliveries: one from Pettit, who allegedly supplied the fentanyl-laced oxy pills, cocaine, and Xanax, and another from a prostitute, who allegedly gave him pure oxy, hydrocodone, amphetamine, Xanax, and coke in addition to what Pettit had supplied.
According to a report issued by the Los Angeles coroner’s office in 2019, Mac Miller, died of “mixed drug toxicity,” which included fentanyl, coke, and alcohol.
Mac Miller’s death was further classified as an accidental overdose, according to the report.
