The governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, has pleaded with the federal government to find and prosecute those responsible for the theft of crude oil from Nigeria.
Uzodinma made appeal while addressing State House correspondents following his Friday meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.

According to him, stealing is a disease that has to be treated in order to stabilize Nigeria’s economy.
He emphasized that everyone engaging in the practice must be brought to account regardless of whose ox is gored and cautioned against treating offenders as holy cows.
