The rescheduled primary elections of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ebonyi State have been declared null and void by a federal high court in Abakaliki, the state capital. ayokinews.com reports
The primary elections on June 5 and 6, 2023, that produced Senator Obinna Ogba as a gubernatorial candidate and others, were declared unlawful, unconstitutional, and null and void by the Court.

The court also upheld the results of the earlier conducted May 29, 2022, primary election that brought in Dr. Ifeanyichukwu Odii as the PDP governorship candidate of Ebonyi state.
