Three new Permanent Secretaries of the Federal Civil Service were on Wednesday, sworn into office by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Permanent Secretaries are Udom Okokon Ekenam from Akwa Ibom, Farouk Yabo from Sokoto, and Lydia Jafiya from Adamawa.
The event was held in the Presidential Villa’s Council Chambers in Abuja on Wednesday, before the Federal Executive Council’s (FEC) weekly virtual meeting got underway.

In attendance at the meeting was Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; Boss Mustapha, Head of the National Security Council (NSA); retired General Babagana Monguno, and Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, the head of the Federal Civil Service.
Additionally present at the meeting were the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, as well as the Ministers of Finance, Budget and National Planning; Information and Culture; and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Zainab Ahmed, Lai Mohammed, and Muhammad Bello, in that order.
