Current Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, has made it clear that he is not expecting any form of appreciation from Nigerians after the end of his 8-years presidency. ayokinews.com reports
Speaking during an interview with NTA on Thursday, Buhari said, “What else can I do for this country?” adding that he’s been very involved in various aspects of governance in the country over the past years of his life and that he has faithfully given his “best” to Nigeria.
He further stated that he hopes Nigerians recognize the fact that he has dutifully given his “best” to their service.

Buhari said: “I’ve been a governor, a minister, and I’m in my second term as president. So, I’ve gone through all the systems, and what else can I do for this country?”
“I’ve given my best, and I hope after I leave, Nigerians will reflect. I’m not expecting any appreciation but what I’m expecting is for Nigerians to say this man has done his best. That’s what I’m expecting from Nigerians.”
